Parasites and immunity
According to WHO data: in the last 10 years, more than 4.5 billion people have become infected with various parasites, in Europe - every third person, in the USA 85-95% of the population. Scientists say that 95% of the world's people will be infected with parasites by the beginning of the 21st century. Parasites cause 14 million deaths a year. According to doctors dealing with the topic of parasites and diseases caused by them, an average of 80%. people in our country has at least one type of internal tenant (the whipworm pinworm), every seventh Pole has a human roundworm, every twelfth - tapeworm. Among young children, the percentage of parasite carriers is even higher - pinworms can be up to 90%. toddlers, almost all suffer from giardiasis.
Parasites live in our body, adversely affecting our health and well-being. Although most of them like the gut, they can live anywhere: in the lungs, joints, liver, blood, brain, muscles and skin. Parasites deprive our body of essential nutrients because they feed on vitamins, trace elements, hormones, and love sugar, proteins and carbohydrates. When they are full, they release toxins, absorb red blood cells, and weaken them immune system.
We are surrounded by all kinds of microorganisms all our lives. Some of them are neutral for us, some are pathogenic. No wonder that immune system man is so complex.
Lymphocytes and macrophages are formed in lymphatic organs, incl. in the thymus, bone marrow, spleen, lymph tissue. The latter is the strategic point of our resilience. A significant amount of it is found in the small intestine. This is why immunity is said to come from the gut. We still have tonsils as well as lymph nodes located throughout our body so that they can react quickly when the source of the infection is in their area of action.
Task the immune system is to fight all microorganisms that enter our body in order to parasitize it. It is important to know that our immune system is an extremely intelligent system. It does not attack elements of our natural bacterial flora. On the other hand, it targets all microorganisms that potentially threaten our health. It is not easy to get rid of them. Reduced immunity can also result in the appearance of candida fungi. Fortunately, some natural substances are effective in eliminating them. It is of course also important to strengthen immunity. One of them are pumpkin seeds.
To meet the needs of our customers, the Dorsim company has in its offer Pumpkin seeds in capsules.
Folk medicine has long used the healing properties of pumpkin seeds. They are used, both in children and adults, against parasites of the digestive system, incl. armed and unarmed tapeworms, pinworms, human glans and duodenal hookworms. The seeds contain cucurbitacins, free and bound phytosterols (including β-sitosterol), enzymes, minerals (including selenium) and fatty oil (40%) containing unsaturated fatty acids. Kucurbicin from the seeds easily penetrates the body of parasites and paralyzes their nervous system. However, it is not toxic to humans as it is not absorbed in the digestive tract and does not irritate the mucous membranes. Pumpkin seeds, as a parasite-fighting agent, are therefore completely harmless and can be used for a long time instead of pharmaceuticals. Pumpkin seeds are a particularly valuable agent in the treatment of helminthiasis, because we do not have to worry about overdosing and side effects with it.
