Maca for immunity
The culture of the South and Central American civilization is primarily about health and natural methods of treating diseases. Mac (Lepidium meyenii) comes from the cabbage families. The closest relatives are rapeseed, mustard and cabbage. Maca comes under different names: Peruvian ginseng, pepper grass, pepper herb.
It contains most of the essential human amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins including thiamine, vit. B2, vitamin C, niacin, minerals, sterols, glucosinolates.
Arginine, present in significant amounts in maca, is a creatine precursor with regulating properties the body's resistance.
Additionally, maca root, just like ginseng, is an adaptogen. Adaptogens are substances supporting the body's resistance to stress and traumatic experiences, used in states of exhaustion, anxiety and fatigue. Consuming matzo leads to increased energy, endurance, but also to a sober assessment of the situation and resistance to stress.
Maca primarily strengthens, increases physical endurance, helps fight anemia, nourishes and nourishes us, slows down the aging process.
Maca does not alter blood hormone levels, but is a driving force through its nourishing effects on the endocrine system, enabling the production of hormones in amounts that meet the body's current needs. Maca is also recommended for people struggling with depression.
NASA entered the matzo on the food list for cosmonauts. The US National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) has included maca in its energizing food for astronauts. Nowadays, all astronauts are taking Maca on a regular basis!
The main and most important advantage of matte is that it is a natural adaptogen, which means that it individually adjusts to the body depending on gender and age, i.e. strengthens the body , gives it energy, but unlike other stimulants (e.g. caffeine, taurine) - its long-term use does not bring negative side effects, but permanently increases adaptability to environmental stress. It can also be used as a measure bacteriostatic.
MACA should also be used in states of weakness, malnutrition, anemia, after diseases as a means of restoring and regenerating vitality (e.g. convalescence and growth period).
According to American experts, no substances have been detected in maca that would cause side effects, and there is also no risk of overdosing.
